Art of Grammar III: Bad Homophones

Homophones are those obnoxious little words like “it’s” and “its” that sound the same even though they are totally, incredibly, phenomenally different.   And since homophone confusion gives even the nicest people hives, it only makes sense that angels get a little testy, too.

 

“Bad Homophones” is an 8×10 original mixed media canvas that comes ready to hang.  It’s the third in the Art of Grammar series, which combines my past life as an English professor with my present life as an ex-English professor who sometimes makes art to avoid screaming.
