Mulder and Scully Salt and Pepper Shakers

Everyone’s favorite FBI partners haven’t been around much lately, probably because they traveled back in time to Renaissance-era England, where they’ve been chasing aliens and evil-doers down dark passageways with candles and Shakespearean curses.

 

Mulder has rarely looked more fetching than he does in his Renaissance garb, and since David Duchovny is almost 11 inches taller than Gillian Anderson in real life, I’ve given Mulder several inches on the petite pepper-grinder Scully, who will turn heads – including her own – in this lovely Renaissance gown with that official badge she cleverly remembered to bring along.

 

Rescued from a local thrift store, this pepper grinder and salt shaker have been cleaned, sanded, gessoed, painted, and sealed for years of use.   They make a fantastic, functional gift for your favorite X-Phile, supernatural enthusiast, or Ren Faire fanatic.
