Sugar Skull Pals: Custom Bunnies

I may have mentioned this before (ad nauseum), but I love Day of the Dead. I also seriously squeal like a demented monkey (how else would I squeal?!) every time I see a bunny hop through my yard, so I obviously also love bunnies. I have made pretty ones and grotesque ones, zombified and cutified. Right now, though, I’m a fan of the sugar skulled ones. Day of the Dead and bunnies go together like.. well. Day of the Dead and bunnies, or perhaps other things that go together well – I’m failing at a proper simile. All I can think of is liver and peppermint, and that combination is nauseating. Asinine commentary aside, stuffed bunnies with skull heads are pretty freakin’ cool.
These are peewee bunnies, measuring approximately 7 inches tall, made from some recycled and some wool felt and embellished with embroidery, beads, and sequins then stuffed to proper squeezable squishability for your enjoyment. Small parts, be smart, don’t let your newborn chew on it.
The examples posted here are just that – examples. I hand sew, hand embroider, and hand embellish every bunny I sell (seriously my sewing machine feels totally unloved and is about to run away to China), and your bunny will be completely original, made just for you. If you have special requests as to color or type of decoration (if daisies make you slip into a homicidal rage and run around killing crossing guards, we certainly should avoid that), you can enter your instructions at checkout or email me at sarah at wonderstrange dot com!
