Welcome to April! No, that’s not an April Fool’s Day joke. It really is April. I don’t know how. We’re so addled by this that we’re zipping along like May fools through our 2014 list of 100 Things to Draw When You’re Bored. This week, I felt the overwhelming need to tackle “Velociraptor at My Door” (#64) and “Strange Fashions” (#36).
When friends come over to our house, we run outside to meet them, or if we’re cooking, we holler at them to come on in. The only people who really ever knock on our door are trying to sell us new siding. Thus it is that I knew a “Velociraptor at my Door” would be disguised as a salesman, or at least, a dinosaur’s idea of what a salesman would look like.
For “Strange Fashions,” I was seized by the idea of wearing a jellyfish skirt, and the whole thing sort of evolved from there.

OMFG that velociraptor! I would be so tempted to let him in, clever girl or not. And I have never wanted to be a victim of fashion more IN MY LIFE.

I would never been seen in a jellyfish skirt… reminds me of the Tulips and didn't we have enough of those ??!!! Never saw anyone it actually looked good on hahaha 😀

You're so welcome! And you know, I see your point about the silhouette of the skirt. I would just be excited to be wearing a glowing jellyfish skirt, though! 😀
