- Free crochet patterns Frankenstein’s Monster! Rawr! This pattern produces an adorably frightening little Frankenstein monster that you can make with medium or bulky yarn. The monster has lots of customizable features, from his too-short sleeves to the scars on his face. This is an intermediate pattern, requiring approximately 2 dozen color changes in the head – but don’t let that scare you! You could also use worsted-weight yarn and make ornaments or thread/floss to make earrings should you so desire! This week you can get an eyeful any way you want it …with a fresh cut bunch of eyeball flowers ( no. 68 on our 100 Things to Draw When You Are Bored 2012 list) or feast your eyes on this Gnaked Gnome (no. 60), who has thankfully preserved his modesty by keeping his hat on. You cannot, however, touch MY eyeball, although if you had been around at the time of this posting, you could have. My dentist got over enthusiastic with the novacaine this afternoon. Feel free to post sympathetic and supportive messages to my numb head . Then go make some art!
