Yeah, I am going with the “if you can’t say something nice” school of thought on the end of summer, the start of school, and the increasingly early sunsets. I will give September ONE thing though: Its arrival does get us one month closer to Halloween. Even if this is your first visit to Wonderstrange, you have probably figured out that we like that fact, a lot.
So this week from our 100 Things to Draw when you are Bored list I drew something scary. Couples counseling (no .58) is pretty scary. Trust me. I tried it.
Halloween is also the one holiday of the year when one can dress up like a sexy bunny, a sexy matador, or a sexy serial killer and no one complains. Do that on GroundHog’s Day and people get all uppity. Trust me. I tried that once, too. Since nothing is sexier than cross pollination, here is a Sexy Bumblebee Costume (no. 41)

Today was the first day of school for two of my grandkids, so it's time to get my crafting time back! It's been in the 100s here what seems like all summer, so I can appreciate fall coming myself. I'm sure you could figure that I also love Halloween. My mom also loved it when she was alive. She took dressing up in costume one step further. She did it every year on her birthday. Since the two of you are having birthdays this week, there's nothing that says that you couldn't dress up like my mom did for decades. BTW, happy birthday a bit early! Thanks for giving us the presents of your free digis. I love both of them!
